Overall the training was successful to initiate a psychosocial concern in post disaster setting among a group of health professional. They have also committed to conduct support program in Makwanpur, one of their working districts. MIRA showed a great appreciation towards BNMT’s efforts on addressing mental health issue in post disaster setting and has further mentioned to support and coordinate with BNMT if needed.

We are supporting affected communities with trauma counseling and now training other organisations with the skills necessary to provide similar programmes of care - so extending the access to these services.
